Pre-med Student?

We are holding a seminar on the how-to of medical school. How to prepare for the MCAT, the MMI and interview. What are graduate schools looking for? and What is graduate school like?

With Guest speaker, Simon Moore, 4th year president of UBC medical school, and alumni from TWU. Also, Dr. Jack van Dyke will be sharing his experience in the field and help you know how to prepare for med-school.

Free Pizza! Oct. 8th

Come out on October 8th (thursday) at 5:00pm in Block Hall to hear more about the Biology club.

We will be introducing our new dean of science, Ky Yin Leung, and presenting our goals of the Biology Club, including; seminars on the latest research being done at Trinity, speakers from the UBC Medical School, A faith and Science week, involvement with the community garden, and a field trip to the Zoo.

If you are enrolled in Biology, or Pre-med, this is your chance to get involved and prepare for graduate school and Medical School.

Remember, oct. 8th there will be pizza in NEU Block Hall at 5:00pm!!

FIRST SEMINAR!!!

We have now set up our first seminar! Dr. Ky Leung will be our guest speaker who is the new Dean of Natural and Applied Sciences here at Trinity Western and has visited and is involved in many prestigious universities around the world. He is a microbiologist as well as a pathologist and will be sharing insights on who he is and the research he is doing pathogenic bacteria!

The seminar will take place on October 8th at 7:00 pm. In Block HAll

First post

Welcome to the new face of the Biology Club here at TWU.
this blogspot is a great way to get information on whats happening next here at Trinity Western.
Our fist event will include an introduction and formal invitation of Dr. Leung to speak to the student body with the Biology Club as a panel asking questions.
Come see who the new dean of science is, and why he has come here.
He is currenlty doing massive research with pathogenic bacteria that he brought all the way from Singapore.
